Nicole is a paralegal in Smith Haughey’s Grand Rapids office where she assists attorneys practicing in the area of medical malpractice defense. She has 20 years of experience in the legal field in various areas of law, including medical malpractice defense and automobile insurance defense. Nicole’s responsibilities include managing cases from the early stages through trial preparation; investigating opposing parties; identifying, securing and analyzing pertinent records; conducting medical research; and obtaining expert witnesses.

Nicole is a member of the Grand Rapids Bar Association – Legal Assistants Section. She is a graduate of Grand Valley State University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science.
