Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge is pleased to announce that Jessie LaHaie has joined the firm as its Human Resources Director.
In this position, Jessie is responsible for staff recruitment, training and development, compensation, benefits, performance management, policy design, and all additional HR responsibilities. In addition, Jessie also manages the Grand Rapids secretarial and support staff, including oversight management of the central services department. She also oversees facilities management for the Grand Rapids office. Before joining SHRR, Jessie held the position of Human Resources Director at Blue Sky Vision in Grand Rapids. Prior to that, she worked for 13 years at Anchor QEA, an environmental consulting firm, most recently as their Human Resources Manager.
Jessie grew up in Montana, moved to Seattle for college where she started her career, and in 2013, relocated to Grand Rapids. Jessie is married to Jason and has a stepson, Jacob, and a Yorkie named Jersey. She enjoys traveling, camping in Michigan and beyond, cooking and watching cooking shows, good coffee, wine, and food.
