Hofmeyer has been named Chair of the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Law practice group.
A shareholder in Smith Haughey’s Grand Rapids office, Jane represents employers in the areas of workers’compensation and employment law. For more than 20 years, she has represented employers, insurers, and third-party claims administrators in the defense of workers’ compensation matters. In addition to her practice, Jane is also a member of the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion and Women’s Business Initiative.
Jane is also involved in numerous charitable and philanthropic activities in the Grand Rapids area. Her involvement includes serving on the Board of Trustees of the City of Grand Rapids General Retirement and Police and Fire Retirement Systems. She also serves as a member of the Community Media Center Board of Directors.
Jane holds a B.A. from College of Wooster, and a J.D., from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
